I just realized that, in comparison to just about every other roleplay site with forums I've seen, Eunne doesn't have an advertising system!
Now, first I'd like to know if any of you know about this super-neat system called affiliating. I think what Eunne could really use to get more members is an affiliation system, because it's a very widely used system and I'm having trouble with the contest because I've only found two sites which do not require a linkback (one of which I'm a moderator on, the other I'm a former member on).
Now, here's how affiliation works. Firstly, you take an 88x31 image with the title of the website on it (obviously, Eunne) or that handy little alt code where you mouseover and see the title that way. It has to be attractive and fairly explanatory (ie. This site would use a pic of an Eunne, cropped, obviously). You post this and some advertising/affiliating rules on an advertising/affiliating board, which we happen not to have. Nextly, you make an area on the homepage where affiliate buttons can show up. This can be a sidebar, a marquee, a table, whatever, just as long as it has a space where others' buttons can show up.
An advertisement should also be made. Ideal advertisements usually consist of an image at the top (a habit of mine is to put the link to the website in the banner) and a little explanation of what Eunne has to offer and a bit of the plot and such. Sites with affiliate systems, of course, put a preview of a button and its code too. A link to the website is absolutely essensial, of course. The nifty thing about affiliating is that you give them your button and they give you yours, so there's a benefit on both sides of the bargain. Both the sites, if they follow the ancient law of affiliating, show the buttons somewhere.
What I think Eunne needs is: one;; an affiliate system, two;; an advertisement, three;; an advertisement/affiliation board, and four;; rules in that board. The point? It works incredibly well. Affiliating is a very well-known system and is used very, very commonly among roleplay sites. I know of a bunch of codes (marquees, mainly- that's my favorite affiliate code, though some sites have a rule against it- they prefer that their buttons are always showed using a static system, which is why my board has both a place on the sidebar for them and a marquee at the top) we could use and it's a great way to find members. You don't need to use any of this, but I highly suggest that if Eunne wishes to be populated more quickly, advertising and affiliation's the thing to resort to.

xD Nice description. Yeah, I know/knew about affiliating... just never thought of adding it for some reason. see? I even... have a button! (yay) So yeah I'll get on that. ^^ Thanks for the idea! (I didn't really know about advertising with the big image and stuff... Well I had seen it but somehow never knew it was something. -.-)

Thanks xD Oh, and if you'll be using the banner of the site in those advertisements, I suggest you size it down a little. It stretched the page on Invisionfree (I changed it to the little 'FUNNY' sketchy sketch on the table).

Why 'FUNNY'? Yeah I like the sketch better so I'll probably use that. I should redo the banner, I don't like it and it hides the top mail information. >.< (there's a bottom mail information, too, but it's not as visible)

xD It's supposed to say "Eunne" all fancy-like. And down at the bottom, near the "users online" and "recent posts" there is something that says "Hi, NAME, you have x messages, x undread" or something like that.
